Your Wreath Will Last

Posted by S. on 7/18/2012
We ship a care card with every order, but there are two primary steps to keeping your wreath fresh and smelling great. First, keep the wreath or garland out of direct sunlight, especially if you keep the wreath indoors. Second, make sure you regularly mist the needles to keep them moist and prevent them from drying out. Balsam firs love cold, moist winter air, and the dry air in a heated home can suck the moisture right out of the needles. Daily misting keeps your wreath or garland pliable and fresh. If you want to keep your wreath fresh a little longer to display during special occasions, try storing it outdoors -- again keeping it out of direct sunlight. You could even try stashing it in a freezer! If taken care of properly, your wreath will last the entire holiday season and into the new year.
